This is MZB -QFL-30 which is direct driven air compressor equip with a 1.5kw/2hp motor the motor is more efficiency than FL-30. Aluminium cylinder head with cast iron cylinder gives added resistance to wear. Suitable for on site applications or anywhere that requires Pump head directly coupled to heavy-duty induction motor for reliable and smooth operation. Precision welded receiver tank manufactured to meet Pressure Vessel Directive. Fitted with fully automatic pressure cut-out switch and twin gauges displaying tank and working pressures. Copper wound motor provides longer.

What is a direct driven compressor?

Direct drive air compressors do not have a belt or pulley system, as they are powered by a crankshaft connected directly to the motor. The crankshaft's direct connection to the compressor causes the pump to rotate at the same speed as the motor. The most significant benefit to this design is its lack of wear parts.
