Precautions Before Maintenance Of Screw Air Compressors

Screw type air compressors are the main equipment for producing gas source power and are essential equipment in industrial production activities. Many screw air compressors work day and night, and their normal operation directly affects the production efficiency of a company. Therefore, once a malfunction occurs, we must rush to the site for repair as soon as possible.
Precautions before maintenance of screw air compressors:
1. Wipe off oil and water stains on the ground to prevent slipping.
2. Ensure that the screw air compressor unit has returned to normal temperature to prevent injuries and burns.
3. Cut off the power supply of the screw air compressor host and hang a sign at the power switch.
4. To discharge through an electromagnetic valve (some models use a mechanical module to discharge), vent the pressure in the system and keep the vent valve open.
5. For water-cooled screw compressors, the water supply system must be closed to release the pressure in the water pipeline.
6. Close the shut-off valve leading to the gas supply system to prevent compressed air from flowing back to the part being serviced. Do not rely on one-way valves to isolate the gas supply system.
