Requirements for installation and use of air compressor cold dryer

When the air compressor salesperson introduces the air compressor to the customer, they will also introduce the post-processing equipment of the air compressor, so what is the post-processing equipment? Post-processing equipment refers to cold dryers, air storage tanks, and precision filters. Earlier we talked about the precautions for the installation and use of air compressors and air storage tanks. Today, let’s talk about the requirements for the installation and use of air compressors and cold dryers.
Matters needing attention for air compressor cold dryer:
(1) The air compressor and cold dryer should be installed at an ambient temperature of 2~45°C with good ventilation and not outdoors to avoid rain and direct sunlight.
(2) There should be enough heat dissipation and maintenance space around the air compressor and cold dryer to facilitate repair and daily maintenance.
(3) There must be no dust or sundries around the installation location, and good ventilation is required to avoid corrosive components in the air.
(4) There are low-temperature models and high-temperature models for Deman Air Compressor Dryers. The inlet temperature of the low-temperature model must not exceed 45°C, and the intake temperature of the high-temperature model must not exceed 80°C.
(5) It is necessary to regularly check whether the voltage of the power supply system is normal.
(6) Strictly follow the parameter indicators of the cold dryer, especially the intake temperature and working pressure, so as to avoid overload operation.
(7) If the cold dryer is shut down during operation, it should be restarted at an interval of 3 minutes to avoid machine failure caused by continuous startup.
(8) The electronic drain needs to be cleaned regularly at any time to avoid clogging.
(9) The filtration accuracy of the pre-filter of the cold dryer should be appropriate, and it can be configured according to the requirements of the gas quality.
(10) The cooling water inlet and outlet pipes should be set independently, especially the outlet pipes cannot be shared with other water-cooling equipment, so as to avoid drainage blockage caused by pressure difference.
